Here are photos of luffa sponge gourds, also known as loofah sponge, loofa, loofah, loufa, sponge gourd, or whatever else someone wants to call them.  Scientific names include Luffa cylindrica, Luffa aegytpiaca, or Luffa aegyptica. These plant vines were grown on a home garden trellis, on chain link fence, and on a wooden deck with lattice.
